The coral raincoat - Anita Holzberg

A raincoat purchase
that reminds me of my red brick coat
I wore at Ohio State in the 60's
red for the red and gray color scheme
I went with this coat
my mother wanted me to have it
Saks Fifth Avenue

I had the coat til I was 30 at least
a woman with Rachel under tow

Now, a coral raincoat arrives , a large size
I reject it
it looks like the red coat only choral
the same design
Until I try it on again
and remember my friend Marty
sitting there and liking it

"Its a keeper," I say
for the right reasons
it's a keeper."
