The Night After the Wedding Weekend - Anita Holzberg

Not without happiness
  I end this night
       day after the wedding 
            pants and shirts

                put away


Simple order will do the trick
    the dress I wore on a hanger
           in the closet pretty slick


The photos scene on camera fare
   The styling  props
         The stage make-up
                  the cargo pants
            white for the ocean's sail
                 the silky shirts that weren't
                         pale


   The grapes Owen loved
      the light Laughing Cow blue cheese
            the CD of Jamie & EM


                So now I can say Amen


             No chatty conversations this evening
     emotions need retrieving
                 Beliz 
                         Yes,  my children are there
                                     as
                          Time runs away with the spoon
                   as September graces
                                    in my face
                                        soon--------------
                                              the Harvest MOON!
