much beauty you share, dear Earth
Raw beauty
Such as the rough terrain of the rain forest,
the stark desert of New Mexico, and the snowy peaks
of Mt. Washington.
I have been there every morning rehearing your song
as the sun rises
and the flowers are open-mouthed
We need to revere you, dear Earth
beyond "the Global Warming hullabaloo
paper and trash interfere
with your beautiful face
Still your changing seasons continue
a leaf falls
so gently
"Did anyone take notice?"
We must love you and revere you
and let it be this Love Letter
written for all time by us---
all of us.
